It's OK to Take a Break

Sometimes you need to push through and get your workouts done.


But this is your reminder that it’s also ok to take a break and not workout or run.


I LOVE Christmas. And even with that, it’s a lot. Being the maker of magic for little people (and big people) is a lot. It’s a lot of mental load to carry, it’s a lot to constantly have scrolling through your head.


So yes, move your body if that feels right. But also rest and recover and do other things you love too.



Here's some ideas on ways to move your body that aren't your typical workout:

  • 20 minute walk

  • Kitchen dance parties

  • Play tag, hide and go seek, or jump on the trampoline with your kiddos

  • Cleaning the house counts!
